Northern Lights Evergreen Forest Silhouette!
I really enjoyed creating a Northern Lights background with a Tree Silhouette using the new Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder.

Whisper White Thick 5 13/16” x 8 1/2” (140490)
Die Cut & Embossing Machine
Here's how I made it:
To start take the Whisper White Cardstock 3 3/4" x 5 7/16". With this in Portrait take the Mango Melody Stampin' Pad and colour diagonally across the card using a Sponge Dauber. Gradually build up the colour.
Next, use the Granny Apple Green Stampin' Pad to add another streak of colour, just below the Mango Melody.
Tip: Slightly overlap the colours.
Move on to the Pacific Point Stampin' Pad. Add a Streak of colour either side of the current colours, making sure to build up the colour gradually to make it vibrant. Also slightly overlapping the colours to help them blend.
With the Melon Mambo Stampin' Pad, add a Streak of colour either side of the current colours, again making sure to build up the colour gradually to make it vibrant.
Use Night of Navy. Start at the edges and build up the colour, working inwards. Once the edges are done, streak the Night of Navy gently through the colours.
Buff Memento Ink gently over the Night of Navy, building the colour up gradually.
Tip: Build more colour on the edges.
Once the edges are done, streak Memento gently through the colours.
Align card in the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder and run through the Die Cutting & Embossing Machine.
Tip: Make sure the Colours are at the top and pick a spot in the Embossing Folder that has a good number of trees.
Use the Memento Ink Pad again and gentle buff over the now embossed trees.
Tip: Use a light touch to keep the ink on the trees and not the background.
Now use the Whisper White Ink Pad. Gently streak over some of the sky.
Using a piece of Kitchen Roll, manipulate the Ink and soften it. Go back and add more Whisper White Ink and soften it as necessary.
Now use the Stampin' Chalk Marker to create a starry effect in the sky.
Tip: Change the pressure randomly to create larger and smaller stars. Also add some stars between the branches of the trees.
Squeeze a little Wink of Stella into the nib and flick against the lid. This adds some sparkle to the starry sky. This completes the card front.
Take the Silver Foil Sheet 3 15/16 “ x 5 11/16”. Align and adhere the card front to it. I used the new Stampin' Seal for a nice strong hold that doesn't add any moisture.
Finally align and adhere the Silver Foil to the Thick Whisper White Card base. 5 13/16” x 8 1/2” Scored at 4 1/4".
Here you can watch a Video Tutorial of how it's made:
