Beautiful Moments Emboss Resist Card!

Since the first arrival of Beautiful You, I have really loved creating projects with these sketch style stamp sets. Now Stampin’ Up! have provided us with another wonderful set of this style ‘Beautiful Moments’. In this make I have used the resist technique with a watercolour background.

Supplies Used:

Beautiful Moments Stamp Set (151677)

Stamparatus (148187)

Watercolour Paper (149612)

-10cm x 14.35cm

Embossing Buddy (103083)

VersaMark Pad (102283)

White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (109132)

Heat Tool (129054)

Silicone Craft Sheet (127853)

Rococo Rose Stampin Pad (150080)

Merry Merlot Stampin Pad (147112)

Night of Navy Stampin Pad (147110)

Sponge Brayer (141714)

Stampin’ Spritzer (126185)

Rococo Rose Cardstock (150888)

-14.85cm x 21cm Scored at 10.5 cm

Tear & Tape (138995)

To begin I aligned and stamped the images in VersaMark ink on the 10cm x 14.35cm Watercolour Paper.

NB: wipe with Embossing Buddy first to remove and static

I then sprinkled the image with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set with the Heat Tool.

Taking the Silicone Craft Sheet I used a Sponge Brayer to apply Rococo Rose Ink to the bottom of the sheet followed by Merry Merlot to the middle and Night of Navy to the top. I overlapped each colour slightly to help blend.

I then spritzed this with water and placed the stamped Watercolour Paper over the top.

Using a Brayer, I rolled over the Paper the help apply the ink evenly.

Before the ink dries I wiped the stamped image gently with a damp cloth to remove ink from the embossing and give a crisper image.

Once dry I torn the edges to give texture.

Applying Tear & Tape to the back I aligned and adhered it to the Rococo Rose Cardstock.

Here you can watch a Video Tutorial of how it’s made:
